How to Play Rankd

Rankd is a free daily ranking game. Every day, three new puzzles are released — and everyone in the world plays the same ones.

Each puzzle shows you five items and a single instruction, such as “Rank these countries by population”. Your job is simple: put the five items in the correct order.

Three rounds, once a day

A full Rankd session is three rounds. You play them back to back, then see your daily summary. Each round is scored out of five possible positions. A perfect round scores 1,000 points. A perfect day — all fifteen positions correct — scores 3,000.

How to rank

To reorder items, drag them into place, or use the up and down arrows next to each item. Both work. On a phone, the arrows are often faster; on a desktop, dragging feels more natural. Use whichever you prefer.

When you're happy with your order, press Submit Ranking. Rankd immediately reveals the correct order and shows you how many positions you got right.

When you're wrong

Getting an item wrong isn't a failure — it's the whole point. The values that surprise you are the ones you'll remember. Rankd always shows the real numbers behind every answer, so you learn something each time.

Come back tomorrow

A new Rankd unlocks every day at midnight UTC. Once you've played today's three rounds, that's your session done. Tomorrow brings three brand new puzzles.
